I thought back to when I was in Puerto Rico a few days ago.

And remembered my nana's house. See my nana died a few years back. If I am not mistaken it was around four or five years ago from cancer, it was caught late. Well anyway after she died my Titi Evelyn got the house... we decided to give it to my cousin, but have to fix it up because it is an old house... maybe 40-50 years old by now. It'll take a long time but anyway they are going redo the WHOLE house. My grandpa and his friends built the house from scratch too, out of cement. Had to be, Puerto Rico was getting dangerous and where my family is from in Daguo, Naguabo it's baaaad. Cement with metal bars. Its a really--no was a really pretty house.

I loved it. But now, they tore everything inside out from the sink to the shower tiles, started taking and scratching off all the old paint, killed the plants, ran off the chickens and even tore down the Coco tree that my nana was most proud of. There was the limit I thought, the coco tree. It was HUGE! And my nana was most proud of that. My titi's husband cut it without asking anyone. It made me sad... so sad.

But I guess time's change eh? Neh, that house was alot of the past I actually remember. Atleast I still have her name as my middle name. I am even debating switching it to my first name. I think I'll upload a picture of my pretty dolly she gave me too
